 Traditional Chinese Medicine  Acupuncture

“In the last quarter of this century (20th) the medicinal treasures of the Orient have been imported to the West.”

Harriet Beinfield

Acupuncture consists on the use of very fine needles to stimulate specific points in our body.

The Orient has brought us the concept of Qi, energy, flowing throughout precise channels in our body. Each channel is composed of well-defined acupuncture points which can be selected to be used in treatment, balancing the Qi circulation.

The West has brought us a different perspective of this therapy. The same acupoints have an immediate effect on the transmission of the neural impulses, stimulating the release of hormones and production of specific cells. More
